The path to the East Lighthouse on Rathlin Island, off the coast of Nothern Ireland. In the background on the horizon, you can see the mountains of Scotland.

This photo was taken using a Sony A7r camera with a Carl Zeiss 55mm f/1.8 lens. It was edited using DXO Pro Optics 9, Lightroom 5.5, Photoshop CS6 with the Topaz Labs Clarity plug-in. I cropped the original photo into a more rectangular shape to give a better overall composition and feel to the shot.

A view of Mussenden Temple from Downhill Beach in County Derry, Northern Ireland. The waves to the left are coming from the Atlantic Ocean. The train tunnel can be seen running directly underneath the temple. Fans of Game of Thrones might recognise the location from Episode 1 of Season 2, “The North Remembers”. It was here on Dragonstone that Melisandre burnt the wooden statues of The Seven Gods, as an offering to the Lord of Light.

This is an 8 shot panorama that was taken with a Sony A7r camera, using a Carl Zeiss 55mm f/1.8 lens. It was edited using DXO Pro Optics 9, stitched together using PTGui Pro, and tweaked using Lightroom 5.5 and Photoshop CS6 with the Topaz Labs Clarity Plug-In.

Mussenden Temple is located near Downhill in County Derry. It sits at the top of a 120ft high cliff, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Downhill Beach. The temple was built in 1785 as part of the estate of Frederick Augustus Hervey, Bishop of Derry and Earl of Bristol. The temple was built as a summer library and its architecture was inspired by the Temple of Vesta in Tivoli, near Rome. It is dedicated to the memory of Hervey’s cousin Frideswide Mussenden.

This is a shot of Lough Tay in County Wicklow, Ireland. Lough Tay is commonly referred to as the Guinness Lake due to its resemblance to a pint of Guinness. The northern part of the coastline is owned by the Guinness family, who imported white sand to create the effect of the head on a Guinness.

This photo was taken using a Nikon D4s DSLR with a Nikon 24mm f/1.4 wide angle lens. The photo was first imported into DXO Pro Optics 9 to iron out any small anomalies, it was then taken into Photoshop CS6 where I created 5 different exposures (-2 through +5) out of a single image. From there I merged the images into 1 HDR file using Photomatix Pro 5, then I applied a filter to the HDR image using Topaz Labs Clarity. Finally, I amended the levels slightly using Lightroom 5.
