This shot was taken with a Sony A7r camera using a Carl Zeiss 55mm f/1.8 lens. It was edited using DXO Pro Optics 9, Adobe Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CS6 using the Topaz Labs Clarity Plug In.

Howth at Sunrise – HDR

Howth Harbour Sunrise HDR1

Howth Sunrise HDR 1 – An HDR shot of the Howth Harbour Lighthouse at sunrise.

I took one shot at f/8, 1/350 sec at iso 200. I then edited the photo within Lightroom 4, exported into Photoshop CS6 where I created 5 different exposures from the same image. These were then merged into one HDR image using Photomatix Pro, and then a final bit of editing using Lightroom 4, Photoshop CS6 and Topaz DeNoise 5.

The photo was taken using a Nikon D800 with a Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.

Howth Harbour Lighthouse at Sunrise Long Exposure / HDR 1 – A Long Exposure / HDR combination of the sunrise at Howth Harbour in Howth, County Dublin, Ireland.

This was a series of 4 Long Exposure shots each of them taken at f/8. The shutter speed for each of the shots were 30s, 15s, 10s & 6s (each at ISO 200). The photos were taken using a Nikon D800 camera with a Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 lens, I also had a Hoya ND400 filter attached.

The photo was then merged into one HDR photo using Photomatix Pro, then edited in Lightroom 4 as well as Photoshop CS6 using Topaz DeNoise 5.

Howth Harbour Panorama in HDR – This is a 6 shot panorama (converted to HDR) of Howth Harbour in Howth, Dublin, Ireland.

This photo was taken using a Nikon D800 camera with a Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. The panorama was stitched using Photoshop CS6, it was then edited in Lightroom 4, 5 exposures were then created using Photoshop CS6, it was then tonemapped into an HDR panorama using Photomatix Pro and final editing down in Lightroom 4.
