This is a shot of the Wicklow Gap in County Wicklow, Ireland. It was here that the set for castle Camelot was built for the 1981 John Boorman movie “Excalibur”.

This photo was taken using a Nikon D4s DSLR with a Nikon 24mm f/1.4 wide angle lens. The photo was first imported into DXO Pro Optics 9 to iron out any small anomalies, it was then taken into Photoshop CS6 where I created 5 different exposures (-2 through +5) out of a single image. From there I merged the images into 1 HDR file using Photomatix Pro 5, then I applied a filter to the HDR image using Topaz Labs Clarity. Finally, I amended the levels slightly using Lightroom 5.

Thanks for looking!
